Anupama ‘Anu’ Kalyanam, LCSW

Founder/Clinical Supervisor/Therapist

Pronouns: she/her/hers

Finding a therapist who we can truly connect with can be so hard. I aim to hold space for building that connection in our work together, at your pace, as connection is so vital to feeling good about ourselves.

I am a New York State licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), and I have been providing therapy and other mental health services to the LGBTQIA+ community and other communities of New York City for over 10 years. In addition to therapy, I also provide clinical supervision to mental health professionals.

I come from a strengths based, trauma-informed perspective, with a foundation in anti-oppression, intersectional, feminist, queer, and psychodynamic theories. I am a queer, South Asian of Indian descent. I believe you (or your child) are the experts in your own lives. Together, we work to achieve your goals so you can live your life as authentically as possible, at your pace.
